Whilst giving birth to her first child, a boy, John , Anne had several complications. The doctor then told her that she should not have any more children as she might die whilst giving birth.
Anne fell pregnant with her second child, a girl, Polly. Once again Anne had several difficulties during the birth process. The doctor, once again, told her that if she fell pregnant any more times she most certainly would die.
Anne fell pregnant again.
As predicted by the doctor Anne died during the birth of her third child,a boy, Thomas. Anne gave birth at home and refused all assistance, medication and advice about going into hospital, because "she believed she would die". The doctor had told her that she would!
At age 50 Thomas's wife Brenda committed suicide
At age 55 Thomas committed suicide.
Was the doctor responsible for planting the "seed" in Anne's belief system?
